Musical Overdrive for Peace – Part 3

Parabelum exploded on the Perth’s live music scene with an eruption of skill, talent and hard rock compositions that delighted the full house of live music aficionados. Cocked and loaded with originals and a few hand-picked covers, integrated special guest appearances all combined to ensure a musical battle cruiser unit was successfully launched. New single “From Darkness to the Light” was unleashed early in the set. The growling, powerful vocals Mick Vinnie overlayed the devastating axe work of Krissy Sanfead. Metallic riffs with razor sharp rips and tears tore open the soul. Driving beats with majestic and savage six string bass work from Sean pulled this patchwork of metal into a woven blanket of visceral audio comfort. Did the stage lighting find a new “Green Machine” in the scene? Jake Issard ensured the pace was not dropped, the baton’s of this musical team race bashing with heavy beats. A Heavy rendition and tribute to recently departed Ozzy in the form of “War Pigs” nailed this band to the hearts of the metal heads in attendance. This was further augmented by a roasting, and rousing, version of Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper”. The six string charge was joined by Commander Kenny and this delivery was fiery, ferocious and explosive. Two originals rounded off the night leaving the night surrounded with smiles. Parabelum, giving peace by preparing for a thunderous metal musical battle.
