The headlining, and penultimate, band of the festival are also the main driving force behind the Perth Stormrider Heavy Metal festivals. With a five album history they don’t have far to mine for some outstanding speed/power metal gems. With meticulous and gifted playing skills, inter playing guitar showmanship and screeching for vengeance vocals the five piece delivered a powerful statement. As a venue Badlands delivered again with excellent viewing facilities, bar staff, sound and light crew. So it was devesting to hear shortly a few days after this epic event this venue will be closing in December. No doubt a great venue will be found for Stormrider # 10 next year.
